This large, established home in Canford Cliffs, Dorset had excellent proportions, strong structural flow and truly good bones. However, despite its inherent quality, the interiors lacked cohesion, warmth and a clear design narrative. The challenge was to elevate the property beyond “well-built” and transform it into a home with real presence, personality and refinement.
Our approach was a design-led refurbishment that respected the original architecture while introducing a layered, considered interior scheme. Through improved spatial definition, carefully curated finishes, bespoke joinery and a sophisticated lighting strategy, we focused on enhancing flow, balance and atmosphere. Each space was designed to feel connected yet distinctive, creating a seamless transition throughout the house.
